"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
-Stephen Jay Gould
I always wonder about this question. Seems to me the more interesting variation would be "what do you geek out about?"
That's actually a great question! I think everyone is a geek about some things.
I'm a geek about the following:
Physics Computers Sports Logic Rhetoric Grammar (the trivium! Oh noes!)
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Logic, Rhetoric and Grammar truly are trivial pursuits. Anyone who is offended by that statement automatically loses.
I "geek out", as the young whipper snappers say, over science, some music, e.g. metal and classical, certain books, and Jurassic park movies. I had once all but memorized the first four seasons of Futurama. I'm trying to become a better writer (in Ger and E) and hence am in the early phase of geeking out over that. I do not geek out over comic books, does absolutely nothing for me. I was a bit of a trekkie once.

What do I geek out about...
I geek out about books. Especially vampire erotica like Anita Blake Vampire Hunter or The Black Dagger Brotherhood. Mmm. But I also love Pride and Prejudice umm...ooooh The Testament of Giddeon Mack (read that one if you haven't already omg it's so good) I geek out over abandoned old buildings. Especially if I can sneak in. Especially if they left things behind I can look through. I will sit in an old abandoned house for hours looking through old photo albums and anything else that was left behind. Trying to get to know the people who were once there. Piecing things together filling in the blanks on my own. Writing a story of their life inside my mind. Yea I geek out about that a little. If that even counts. I definitely squee every time I see an old building or house that looks abandoned. RE: Are You A Geek?
