I certainly hope so, Losty. It'd be a nice change of pace, really.

... At least I have pity Undecided But... not incorrect regarding the process by which I might 'win' regarding anything important to me.

I just hope that I'm in too deep to lose, because 'losing' is not a real option for me at this point. Still, losing everywhere at the same time... it's like the tide's gone almost all the way out, and here I am on the beach... just looking at the sandbars, and wondering how happy the clams are in their isolated little shells.

Asking questions isn't the path to victory. The path to victory is to follow the signs.

"process by which I might 'win' "

Perhaps you've already won and you just didn't realize?

That thought's definitely occurred to me, and it's about my only hope right now. Because if I haven't yet: I won't Undecided

I'm just waiting here with a lottery ticket to be read in a little under 600,000 years. My holdings today are washing away from me with the ebbing tide... sure, they'll come back in with the flood... but not all at once, and some of them may get lost along the beach.

My choices while I wait for the tide to float my boat... are to either find some 'water' and company while on shore, or to be a little sad that my little boat is grounded... And I'm far too responsible to get hammered.

600,000 years seems so long to wait and sometimes I wonder if it won't be more like 600 million years. However long the wait...you haven't been abandoned on the shore. I'm right here next to you, inside my shell. Clams aren't always as happy as some people seem to think they are.

Don't worry about the low tide... the full expression of 'happy as a clam' is "Happy as a clam at high tide"... and you'll get there: the tide floods without fail Smile Might take 600,000 years, but... there won't be any seagulls or mean people with clam guns trying to dig you up until then; I won't let them Smile I've got a big boat~ Skunk

Still.. sun's up, and the sand is warm. I just hope that warmth gets to the romantic little clam Heart
