Dyre, the word translated hell was the word describing a garbage dump which had continual burning of the trash there.
That was a metaphor for a real place we were told to avoid.
I didn't say Hell was at the bottom of a volcano, it could well be, but some fiery burning amount of something is set to destroy the physical bodies of the dynamic evil duo.
Your inner self does not die when your body dies.
Nothing physical can destroy your spirit.

Please, spare me the "we don't gang up" bullshit.

I know that normal, everyday Christians do not agree with some of the things said by the Christians on this forum. When someone says something repulsive and the members of their group are so determined to project a united front that they don't speak out, it hurts the image of that particular group. For groups that want to win converts, it goes against their evangelical goals if potential new members believe that everyone in that religion agrees with something horrible that another member said.
You seem to be saying that new converts know all there is about Christianity, they don't and neither do any of us here. We do the best we can, God gets His message across to those who are listening, He prepared the way long ago for everyone, as long as they listen to Him in the end. Some men might think they can save others or even get them close but, if I understand the scriptures correctly, we are to give our testimony for why we believe and God in the Trinity will do the rest. This is o be our wittness to those seeking.

No, obviously; those books identify themselves as fiction, while the Bible does not. And you actually got kudos for this comment?
But, the buy-bull is more obviously fiction (albeit, poorly written) that the Harry Potter books.

In Hindu monotheism, the concept of God varies from one sect to another. Hinduism (by its nature as a regional rather than a doctrinal religious category) is not exclusively monotheistic, and has been described as spanning a wide range of henotheism, monotheism, polytheism, panentheism, pantheism, pandeism and monism, etc.[1][2][3][4]
The philosophical system of Advaita or non-dualism as it developed in the Vedanta school of Hindu philosophy, especially as set out in the Upanishads and popularised by Adi Shankara in the 9th century, would become the basis of mainstream Hinduism as it developed in the medieval period. This non-dualism postulates the identity of the Self or Atman with the Whole or Brahman, and can be described as monism or pantheism.
Forms of explicit monotheism find mention in the canonical Bhagavad Gita. Explicit monotheism in the form of emotional or ecstatic devotion (bhakti) to a single external and personal deity (in the form of Shiva or Vishnu) became popular in South India in the early medieval period. Ecstatic devotion to Krishna, a form of Vishnu, gained popularity throughout India during the Middle Ages and gave rise to schools of Vaishnavism. Ecstatic devotion to Goddess Durga became popular in some parts of India in the later medieval and early modern ages. Vaishnavism, particularly Krishnaism, Shaktism and some forms of Shaivism remain the most explicit forms of monotheistic worship of a personal God within Hinduism. Other Hindus, such as many of those who practice Shaivism, tend to assume the existence of a singular God, but do not necessarily associate God with aspects of a personality. Rather they envisage God as an impersonal Absolute (Brahman), who can be worshipped only in part in a human form.
The term Ishvara may refer to any of the monotheistic or monistic conceptions within Hinduism, depending on context.

See the crybaby whine, see the crybaby shed tears, see the crybaby act as childish as his little prude will allow. Grow up, stop crying, act like a mature adult. Want to see what ganging up looks like, just pay attention to the atheist responding against the Christians on almost any thread.

Project much GC?!? Seems it was you who had the hissy fit, took his ball and left the forums not so long ago. Good for the comic relief that you came back though.
And trust me, I know what ganging up looks like. You and the rest of the special ed squad are here by your own choice. If you leave, we won't follow you, continuing to berate you for not believing the same as us.

Snake, you perception of physical age being equivalent to spiritual age is in error.
Just as people can be born and grow in body but not in mind, people can be born from above and stay as babies or children.
Growth as Christians is up to each person.
It is not forced upon us, just as being converted is not forced upon anyone.
The apostle Paul had to deal with a bunch of baby believers, who he said, should have LEFT the basics and gone on to maturity.

Monotheism is apart of certain sects, but the discussion you inserted yourself into specifically names genesh as the center of monotheistic worship.
Out of the 108 names of genesh not one appears on the list you were too quick to post that identify hindu gods who were worshiped as the center of hindu monotheism.
