It is the best route for prior enlisted guys, too. It's good to be able to get used to balancing military, athletics/extracurriculars, and a ridiculous course load. 23 credit hours spring semester my junior year. Aeronautical Engineering. Confused

Seriously, keep us updated!

Also, don't get any tattoos. Tongue

Oh I know. That is the main reason why I am not going to get any tattoos anytime soon. I leave the Middle East in about 4 months and go to a ship. I am hoping that that will give me all the time I need to finish my package, learn more from the officers, and prepare for the Academy. Even if I don't get picked up for it, I intend to get my Bachelor's while enlisted, get out, and go to Law School.

I basically have a plan for every scenario.

That's awesome, man. Best of luck. Contingency plans are always good. You're clearly smart and you have plenty of time; if you've behaved yourself and you're an E3-E5 with a good service jacket and good PT scores, you'll get in.

If you need any advice or have any questions, you know where to find me. Smile
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

To me though the Maltese cross is more of a national symbol and a cultural thing rather than a strictly "religious" icon. Sure it's linked, but there's more to it than religion to me. That's just me though.

I wouldn't get any religious tattoos I don't think. Back when I was in my weird "half Catholic, half Pagan" phase I considered a tribal-style cross, I still think it would look cool but it would mean nothing to me now.

Whenever I hear Maltese I immediately think of the dog breed  Dog Bone
But then I remind myself we are talking about people.  Tongue

They are such sassy dogs, I love them

More famous than the actual ethnic group lmao

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable."

I considered it in college, but luckily, I resisted. I was thinking about getting a cross or ixoye (Jesus-fish) on my upper arm or shoulder. I am exceedingly glad I did not do that.

I guess the ixoye can be turned into a Darwin fish kind of easily. :p
