Irrational based on bad logic leads them to do that yes. Same with domestic crime such as murder. There is a psychology behind bad behavior and bad logic. You CAN make sense of those bad things without excusing those behaviors. I really wish media would STOP using the word "senseless". Nobody likes cancer either but we can know what causes it and make sense out of that to reduce it.
