For the ultimate in stupid place names, Wales wins hands down. Yr Wyddgrugg is my personal favourite.. The English translation is Mold.

Norn Iron is in the running.  Ballaghnatrillick ('ford mouth of the three flagstones') and Cloontyprocklis ('lawns overrun with badger warrens') are both in Co. Sligo.  The ROI is no slouch, either, with Muckanaghederdauhaulia ('ridge, shaped like a pig's back, between two expanses of briny water') in Co. Galway, and Horetown and Fannystown (no explanation needed), both in Wexford.

Caboolture has a population of 136,000. House prices are not stupid because there's only so many jobs there I s'pose.
Nice hospital, lovely weather, plenty of sports clubs, etc

We'll base there renting for a couple of years until our economy collapses (which it will sadly), and then buy something nice for a good price.
Retiring with 100% certainly June 30 next year. The other business partner has been told. He's agreed to buy my 50% share of the business.

LG. Life's Good.

Congrats!

Fine then! I demand a free Snickers bar every time I log on.

If my demands are not met within twenty four hours, I am outta here!

As my totally reasonable and doable request has not been met, I'm offski.

From now on, any posts under the Wololo brand are from my ghost.

Woo-ooo-ooooo!

Well considering Sligo is our side of the border, NI is out of the running right there. Other funny names, New Twopothouse in Cork, Kilaboy in Clare, Hospital and Effin a short drive away from me in South Limerick and best of all Muff in Donegal, they have a Diving Club, you know.

RE: The Newly Departed thread: announcements (departures)
Hey yo,

I'm gonna take a mild leave of absence from here for a little while. I've been mad busy at home/work, with it being the holiday season,  haven't had time to post as much as I'd like across two message boards (here and Atheist Discussion forums).  For now I'm going to focus on the AD forum, if anything as it needs the support to get off the ground, but I probably won't be posting all that much there either.

I'll pop in when I have time to do so, and just wanted to say thank you for welcoming myself and all the other TTA TFTSNBN refugees, as you've made us all feel so welcome, which is beyond amazing of you all.

Anyway's thanks again everybody, when I have more free time (possibly in the new year) I'll be back

Great

Yes, I too will be concentrating on AD for now but like Oaktree am grateful for the lovely welcome here following the TTA apocalypse, I send my best wishes to all here and express my hope for a swift resolution to the forums current difficulties.
