Noted. I'm not trying to stereotype AC, nor am I trying to justify those who have responded as if the stereotype were the truth.
I'm telling him (given some of the comments in the thread and past history) what I think he should expect in general, and how I think he can have the best experience here.
I think it's important for a person with a particular privilege coming into a community defined by those without that privilege to understand what's going on.
