I know this doesn't add anything to the argument, but it's annoying to see Hitler mentioned every time eugenics is. I've seen it in countless threads/discussions over. Adrian seems to have that covered, so I'll leave it to him. All I have to say is that eugenics isn't automatically "evil" (whatever evil supposedly constitutes for you moralists) and it can contribute the advancement of a society only just marginally with some effort. The real problem is typically making sure that is done as natural as possible without producing negative outcomes post-implementation.
PS: The killing of the Jews was predominately done because of hate, and Hitler didn't know shit about science. Research him and his beliefs (morally, politically, scientifically, and religiously) reveal his apparent delusion. I fail to see why it has to be such a great example of eugenics considering Hitler didn't know anything about science. He merely had ignorant hypotheses.
