Even if you claimed that the quran were a magically perfect book, a book is a written form of communication and is a tool to convey ideas to other people. If the majority of the people reading the book do not get the perfect message perfectly, then the quran is like a broken photocopier, it creates an image in the hands of other men that is not true to the original and it is at fault when the other people act upon it's faulty transmission of the message.
