I would look into that but unfortunately the school I'm at is so small we only have 32 clubs and most of them are career oriented (with the exception of the Intervarsity Christian group and a group for African Americans). So we have no geology or astronomy club (nor a photography one for that matter) 
but I'm hoping to transfer out to California next year where I'll have more opportunity to join these kinds of clubs. I kinda wish I would have gone to my first choice in schools...they actually had an Atheist club and I was super excited when I read about it...but they didn't offer me enough money
I love that "the only bad question is the one you don't ask"...absolutely true and something I've been trying to come to terms with all my life. But I think I'll be able to ask questions here
