In my experience, once someone becomes pregnant, all fucks given for what other people think about it are gone and the sonograms and baby pics start a-flyin' whether people want to see them or not.

I, for one, don't mind hearing about news that other people are excited about even if I don't really care. They are excited and want to share what's going on in their lives, why should anyone else shit all over it? I do it, too, and I'm pretty sure nobody really cares about my stupid shit.
With that said, though, don't over do it to the point where members start blocking you for being annoying.

Quote:^The fact that I even have to "wonder" about sharing news that pretty much anywhere else would be cause for celebration, definitely tells me there is a correlation between atheism and being anti kids.
You seem to only be wondering about this now that you know that there is some portion of these forums who are either ambivalent to such an announcement, or would disapprove of you becoming pregnant. Perhaps you are simply unaware of this contingency in other forums you might participate in?
My decision to not have kids isn't in any way connected to or contingent upon me being an atheist.
Go ahead and make whatever announcements you want to in the forums here.
Can I make one plea with you, though? Could you please not have 19 kids and counting??
