Thank you, summerqueen. Now, wanna take a shot at figuring out how many galaxies are in my last post? Come on. It'll be fun!

Hmmm...don't laugh - it's been a LOOOONG time since I looked through a telescope at something (well besides someone's window, but I've since gotten therapy for that)... I think it looks like there are four or five that I would guess at (well, there's a pretty obvious one smack in your face, but the number includes that one).

I used to be fairly into astronomy as a child, until I got more interested in the myths associated with the constellations than in a lot of the science. It's more balanced now that I'm older. Your moon picture is fucking awesome.

How's your shoulder healing up? Funny you say that about winter - that was always the time people took me out for star-gazing where I used to live. Could be a huge factor in why I moved further south... [shiver]
