Diet: This animal is insectivorous and eats mostly ants and termites, but also beetles, cockroaches, and probably worms.
Anatomy: This animal is known for its scales, though the scales are not like those of the primitive mammal ancestors, the synapsids. These scales are used to protect the pangolin from predators. These animals also have large claws used to climb trees and dig for food.
Behavior: This animal is shy. It is nocturnal and solitary. Because of these they are hard to find. When worst comes to worst, they release the smell from their anal glands and hiss.
Reproduction: the only time these animals ever come together is to mate. Not only that, but males and females share a den together and will even come out during the day. The gestation period last 65-70 days. they usually have one child. The female will carry the young on its tail.
Relationship with other animals: This animal is prey to animals such as the asiatic lion.
