Right up there with Iraq.
Really? Talk about the war I barely heard about in school :S
Maybe there's a reason for that? ^_^
Now I've got another war to look into so that I don't sound silly and misinformative :S

If nothing else... the americans kicked ass in the battle in the boonies ^_^

You brits are superfluous.
Yeah but you have to say it ah-loo-mi-num and end up sounding like a complete twat in the process because it sounds like it could be a separate word, Aluminium is how all the cool people say it.
'ini'? Sad sound that. I've called a dog 'ini' plenty of times. Come on... that sounds Native... ie: "Iniininini!"
You're saying stately Englishmen use such cutesy little sounds? Maybe they aren't so stately as I thought they were.

Well considering we we're fighting British traitors and they knew British military tactics. As well as that factor of the bloody French causing more problems for the British so we couldn't send a full force and that our same old worn out line march tactic was useless in closed ground like forests and such. Such tactics only really worked in open fields. British traitors took advantage of that.
So really, it would of been more beneficial for Britain to just stick their too fingers up at the traitors and forget about them, than to get into a punch up with them.
No real loss anyway. Just look how you lot turned out.
There's no way we'd want north America back, not after what you've done to it.
Too many religious crazies.
No real loss? Having played many management games before, I know that it really fucking hurts to have wasted an army. Why the hell were they marching down that way anyways? Why not go around the forces dug in heavily from that side?

I guess it was sung just a little too often to your generals of the time. While American troops are playing that little kid's game, thinking you'll play by their rules: go around them and raze their cities. And what the hell were you doing with an army inside our borders after the war has officially ended?
No wonder we revolted... and won Shame that our leadership seems to have inherited that stupidity from yours :'(

Not to quibble on technicalities but you cannot have it be a "decisive" battle in a war that is already over.
Then why the hell did they say it? 0.o What would they possibly gain from lying about that? 0.o
Quote:One-sided defeat? Perhaps. Although Isandlwana was pretty one-sided as well.
Are the British on the losing side of all of these ridiculous defeats (where they are involved)?

Here you go Sae, I think you'll like this song too...
