Reputable secular charities that I can give to?

By secular, I'm NOT demanding that there be no Christians, or any other religious people, in a charitable organization-just that they don't ask for prayers, and don't believe that disasters and illness are the result of things like voodoo practices. By reputable, I do mean that I want to donate to charities where the money actually gets to those who are hurting, and isn't sucked up by a huge bureaucracy. Any suggestions are welcome!
