That word, or words, that we can't stand saying. For some reason, they just taste nasty coming out of our mouths. "Moist" tends to be a popular hated word, but I actually don't mind it. Makes me think of a luscious, rich, Chocolate cake.
The word I hate is fart.
Ugh. Even just typing that out makes me feel all dirty. Which is why I normally refer to it as "number three." It just makes me feel so unattractive when I use that f-word, so I avoid it at all costs. I would say I avoid actually doing it, too. But I don't need to avoid doing it because I have no need to do it. I have never number threed, neither have I ever had the urge to number three.
Anyway, what about all yalls? What word/words do you hate, and why??
I hate racial slurs and the longest word in the English language: pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosi
My wife hates the word "moist" she said it sounds so disgusting. When I feel like being mean, I describe how much I enjoyed the "moistness" of the roast she made for dinner. *cue the death stare*
We are not made happy by what we acquire but by what we appreciate.
