Sure Hilary has branding behind her, but because of that many evangelicals hate her, and they are the biggest single voting group. For Bernie, if he runs against trump, he will have the intellectual vote and the minority votes in the bag. He will have the non religious vote too. He ever he will have inroads to the evangelicals that I feel will give him an advantage that Hilary lacks. His veiws on gun control are better received, and his antiestablishment message is been proven many times to be powerful in among the middle class. I also think that Bernie in a debate with trump, would reduce trump to a raving nutjob. I mean like Joe McCarthy raving mad.
