Why?
How would it differ from the current subforums? Without special rules in place to enforce a difference, it would end up just being the same as the current Christianity subforum in content. What special rules would you suggest for this new subforum to differentiate it? (I also see a problem in that there isn't enough demand for such a forum.)
Jorm-
Your question is a good one, but so is the answer.
The reason that a separate forum would be beneficial is that MANY atheist members of this forum have stated that they really don't appreciate the fact that believers come into this forum to make the case for God and/or Jesus and disturb the haven that you all enjoy here.
For example, TheRocketSurgeon wrote:
Quote:"You're right. You're absolutely right. This isn't a forum for discussing Christianity."
He also said, "you invade our sanctum" and "this is our house".

I agree with Rocket, and that's where I got the idea for a separate subforum. Not everyone has the temperament or stomach for apologetics, They want to post Westboro Baptist memes and blow off steam about things they see in the news every day. Apologetics seems out of place in that atmosphere.
Okay, I get that. But does that mean that there is NO place for more serious discussion of the subject?
A second Christianity subforum would solve the problem having a single forum which is serving two very different purposes inadequately at present.
