It could always be worse: They could have put New-Paradigm Daleks in there! Whoever designed those was the real fuck-up!

Also I must say episode 1 of the new season wasn't that great. We have Missy and Clara "killed" - but who's going to really believe that? And the TARDIS "destroyed" - and who's going to really believe that either? Apparently the Doctor's going to go back in time and kill Davros, which in theory would cause the timeline to readjust and there to be Davros-influence on the Daleks. Consequently he wouldn't remove their emotions as he does in Genesis of the Daleks - therefore the "new Daleks" will be less evil. I don't really like the sound of that.
Also, the Daleks don't disintegrate people when they kill them. Their weapons can disintegrate though, and this is what we saw in "Victory of the Daleks" where the ugly New-Paradigm Daleks were launched - and the disintegration effect is completely different to the "transport effect" that we just saw in S09E01. Which is why I certainly remain sceptical they killed Missy and Clara.
It's pathetic really, Doctor who shouldn't be playing these games. It should end with them both about to be exterminated - that's classic who cliffhanger style. Not this rubbish about showing us the TARDIS, Missy, and Clara killed when we all know at least 2 of those things will be back again in the future. It just breaks all credibility - it makes the show less suspenseful. Moffat is too afraid to get his hands dirty and actually let people get killed (like in Stolen Earth).

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK
"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke
