I've always wondered why they called it 'Football'. That name doesn't make much sense at all. Heheh! And, yeah... if you don't understand the game, it probably does look like they are just running into each other and milling around. It's a lot more complicated than that, though... serious strategies, formations, and... so on. Anyway... the point is... without the padding, most of them would be broken or dead before halftime. And... back to the original point of the thread... if you understand how the game actually works... that play was genius... as evidenced by the fact that it worked! Heh!
