The Alliance of American Football is making it's prime time debut tonight on CBS at 8pm. I'll give it a shot. What say others?

Being the underdog guy I am, I do root for competition.

I wanted the USFL to succeed. I even wanted the NFL Europe to do the same. Although the XFL run by Vince made me sick. 

To be honest, outside science shows an PBS spring is fucking boring to me. I like the sport. So if they succeed, it will mean more football.

If anything kills this new upstart league it will be the NFL. Not that it should. But, we are in the age of monopolies started by Reagan.
According to this article Steve Spurrier, one time and short term Redskins coach will be the Orlando coach.

I will be watching, I think it can work because the NFL offseason is so long. If they can attract the bettors and fantasy sports players (which isn't hard) then they could easily hang around.
