It can't possibly be that what you said was unknowingly an incredible degree of bigotry and hurtfulness.
It can't possibly be that you should have apologized instead of saying that I misunderstood something that talked about my own incarceration, referring to my own photo, and with my name at the top of the response.
The word "most women" doesn't make it any better. It doesn't change anything. If I had responded to a photo of you to which you had stated that you are blind, and said that "most men aren't attracted to disabled women", how would you have taken it?
Is it okay because I only said "most" men? Does it make it okay if it's true?
I would have said that's nice for you. Would I throw a tantrum? Nope. But I'm well aware, and quite used to hearing about which levels I'm not attractive. I however don't proceed to have a meltdown, when I hear that certain people find me undesirable for whatever reason.
