I think Jesus might have existed.
I believe Jesus would have been (in practical terms) an ordinary human being.
I'd like to understand what the basis of so many posts here are claiming that Jesus past existence is an unlikelihood. I remember hearing an argument many years before joining AF, that the name Jesus wasn't in use during the so-called time of Jesus on Earth but couldn't it also be true that it just wasn't a prominent name at that time?
What convincing arguments are there against the existence of Jesus, the human from the bible? I mean Islam preserved over 1400 years of rhetoric and propaganda from the war-convinced prophet Muhammad, why can't we be satisfied with the historical account of Jesus prior to that?
