Another legend has it that when one of his disciples pointed to another asking ""What about him?" and Jesus said, "If I want him to remain until I come again, what is that to you?" means he actually made one of his disciples into the Wandering Jew.(October 14, 2015 at 11:36 am)sinnerdaniel94 Wrote: Jesus' resurrection from the dead.
no resurrection = no Christianity
Anyone can claim to be the Son of God, but Jesus said He will show one sign and that was that He would be raised from the dead 3 days after He was killed. Jesus appeared to the disciples as well as hundreds of others in His resurrected form, and His followers went from scared to bold in their faith. why? because they KNEW everything He said was true because Jesus proved it by His resurrection.
As you know, many Christians died for their faith in Jesus Christ; I refuse to believe that they were defending a lie. I believe that Jesus was raised from the dead and that life everlasting is through Him.
Jeebus also (allegedly) claimed that he would return bringing the kingdom of gawd before all of the then current generation had died. How'd that work out?!?
In Matthew 24 Jesus describes the tribulation and the rapture and his second coming, so Christians can't wiggle out of this by claiming he was referring to the spiritual kingdom when he said "It is finished." on the cross.
They also try to redefine the word generation to mean the progeny of Abraham or something like that. But those phony proselytes running around the middle east calling themselves Jews don't have the slightest biological connection to Abraham. So that won't work either.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.
