Snopes says it's false, of course, like so many thousands of xtian "inspirational" stories on FB. I asked a devout xtian friend why there are so many lies like this one - - why they couldn't find any TRUE stories to share. She, of course, got irate (still isn't speaking to me)
and said that the messages were true even if the story didn't really happen. Facepalm
