Regarding the "race fetishization" thing, I think it depends.
I do tend to find myself attracted to darker features in general (olive skin, brown eyes, dark hair) and that leads me more towards people who aren't white, or are just darker white people. It's not really specific to one race though with me, that can apply to literally anyone. I think it only becomes a fetish when you limit it to one specific group, and you bring with it expectations based on stereotypes (which I never do).
But then I also think this; there's two people in every relationship. If the perceived "fetishized person" in the relationship was so unhappy there, they could leave any time they want to. I'm sure they're not being held there against their will. That's the main reason why I do side-eye this conversation about interracial relationships, especially when it seems like one person or race is getting the flak much harder than the other. It's easy too look at a white man/Asian woman and think of all the stereotypes of "oh he must have an Asian fetish", but does she look happy with him though? If so, it's not your business.

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable." - Maryam Namazie
