^I agree, but "freedom of speech" doesn't absolve you from judgment or criticism. While I think people are silly for taking it to the Nth degree that they think things like fetishization and slut-shaming should be legal issues, I do support their right and equal free speech to call out what they percieve to be problematic behaviour. I feel like someone telling you it's distateful for saying you feel like fucking a Chinese woman is not invalidating your free speech, it's just a consequence of having free speech.
That's the responsibility that comes with free speech. Say what you want, how and when you want, but don't be shocked if there are social repurcussions. It's my free speech to go out into the street with a rubber glove on my head talking about "I'm a chicken!", but calling "free speech" can't stop the neighbours looking at me crazy.

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable." - Maryam Namazie
