Missionaries inspired the Ugandan government to write legislation that proscribed the death penalty for the "crime" of being gay. It was only international pressure that forced them to drop the penalty to life in prison.
You think that's okay? You think in America, we should sentence people to life in prison for not believing what you believe about the world?

You do not choose your sexuality. You claiming otherwise does not make it so. I did not choose to be attracted to women. That is part of my biology. I am also attracted to some men. I didn't choose that. To suggest that were I only attracted to men, I should live my life in misery to please you is fucking bullshit of the highest order.
