Whats the big deal about waving a hickory stick?
As far as I know, Pastor Phillip never actually hit any of the Ugandans.
When I was in youth group he would hit me with the hickory stick if I ever gave him lip.
I didn't like it at the time, but in hindisght I realized I needed it ( I was acting out...).
He gives them more good things then they've ever had in their lives..
