If you have a little time and want a good laugh, this review from TBR shows the absolute extreme of strawman atheists in movies. Most movies at least try a bit harder than this not to have atheist = asshole.

I think as atheism rises and becomes more understood, the stigma will slowly fade. Eventually it won't even be a big deal that a character is an atheist.
