It helps nothing. If anything, it gives more unnecessary publicity.
Similar thing goes for shootings as well. We don't need attention brought to these despicable actions. Do what you need to do, don't tell us about it, it causes more harm than good, and won't even make a dent in the actual issue at hand.
Which is better:
To die with ignorance, or to live with intelligence?
