Although I don't believe praying works, some people do think it works, and many of those people believe they are doing a good thing. It's a nice feeling, much akin to donating, or helping an old lady across a street, or holding a door open for someone else to walk through, or punching my pink bunny in the face.
If you ask 14 questions in rapid succession, without letting the person you are asking them of answer, I should think you are simply being rude.
Why are those things good?
You may think I was being rude but rudeness was not my intention, and would everyone find it rude?
