Makes sense, but it raises the question of what happens when they put the next goat in the tiger pen (tiger gotsta eat).  If the second goat evinces fear and the tiger eats it, will the original goat become fearful, thus triggering the tiger's predatory response?

Not cruel so much as pitilessly indifferent (Nature, not me). I was simply pondering what (if anything) would happen, assuming that the lack of fear on the part of the goat is what made the tiger not eat it.
