Kinda sorta having a discussion with DVF about this on another thread - I am not against bearing arms. Or breasts. But that's a discussion for another thread.

I think there needs to be an immediate inclusion of classes instructing people in: critical thinking, sarcasm, satire, and irony. Also, stop some of this bloody "touchy-feely" self-esteem boosting bullshit that makes people think that they and their opinions matter to the world at large. Or even to the rest of the people around them. Actually, I blame social networking sites for that particular delusion. People can seem to give a shit without much effort and it provides false moral support.
