I think there needs to be an immediate inclusion of classes instructing people in: critical thinking, sarcasm, satire, and irony. Also, stop some of this bloody "touchy-feely" self-esteem boosting bullshit that makes people think that they and their opinions matter to the world at large. Or even to the rest of the people around them. Actually, I blame social networking sites for that particular delusion. People can seem to give a shit without much effort and it provides false moral support.
You mean my opinions dont really matter, say it isnt so.
Actually my opinions matter a great deal. I make all the major decisions in my house, I decide what the best way to fix the economy should be, how laws should be carried out and my wife decides the small things like the colour of the front room and the best way to spend my money.
