A pretty popular biscuit here is the 'ANZAC biscuit'. Basically oatmeal and coconut, sweetened with golden syrup and sugar. Interestingly, it is one of the few biscuits made without dairy, so they keep a long time and travel well.
I'll post a recipe if anyone's interested, which is bound to be a helluva lot more useful than Hitler's religious beliefs.
