Joshua (is a prophet from the old testament) who fought battle against pagans, he need more time to win before the night, so he orders the sun to stop, and it's stopped for one day, this story look ridicilus for many peoples because it is the earth who revolves around the sun, and the story said that Joshua orders the sun to stop.
But many christians said that ordering the sun to stop is a figure of expression.
And there are many stories from around the world talk about a day longer than ordinary days or a night longer than ordinary night. And these stories are dating back to more than 3000 years (the same era in which lived Joshua).
It's a coincidence?
