Size: 3 meters
Weight: Males weighed 400-500kg, while females are 225-250kg
Life expectancy: It is believed to have lived up to 20 years
When it first appeared: It lived in the Mid to Late Pleistocene, 25,000 years ago
Location: This bear was found throughout areas near caves across Europe, Russia, and northern Iran

Relationship with other animals: Humans and cave bears did not meet much, but humans of that day may have fought the bears for caves. It is also shown that they worshiped the bears as a god. Cave lions were predators of the cave bear. Only slightly bigger than a lion, but bulkier. The cat was powerful enough to take down the bear.
