Diet: The cave bear mainly ate plants, but would switch to animals if needed

Anatomy: Cave bears were one of the larger bears. It had a different set of teeth than other bears, as shown by the loss of premolars. 

Behavior: Like most bears it was solitary

Reproduction: No data

Relationship with other animals: Humans and cave bears did not meet much, but humans of that day may have fought the bears for caves. It is also shown that they worshiped the bears as a god. Cave lions were predators of the cave bear. Only slightly bigger than a lion, but bulkier. The cat was powerful enough to take down the bear.
