Regarding the fact that the hardware behind life functions actually perform, that is proof only that it's good enough to do what it does. Being that it had 4.5 billion years to do that much, it really isn't so remarkable.

Natural selection happens, no one is arguing against that. The question is which ones are being selected? The evolutionist thinks that the one being selected is superior because of a mutation. I think that the one being selected is superior because of a lack of mutation, or a less deformed genome. Natural selection preserves the integrity of the genome across generations.
