That is not the theory of evolution. The theory of evolution, at least the one I am arguing against is that we share one common ancestor and that life could start from molecules. If that is how we will define evolution, then all species will eventually be unfit once enough mutations accumulate to degrade the functions of the genomes.

Socially questionable and somewhat rare as this may be (excepting royal families), you can in perfect safety have children by your second cousin, without concern for duplicative enhancement of genetic defects. On the great, ever-sprawling tree, the map to where you and your cousins are would be miles wide, but the distance between you and your cousin would still be a tiny dot's width!
Bad mutations don't accumulate any faster than good ones. Bullshit disposed of.
