Vanilla or chocolate is not right or wrong, it's matter of preference.  Personally, I don't have a favorite...it depends on what I'm in the mood for. 

I agree we have subjective feelings of value of a person however is not solely about preference, but also related to standards, that relate to the belief there an an objective value.
