Is Quran the proof of God?

It did lead to a scientific revolution in the M.E.
I won't talk about today's Muslims, but back in the past the scientific activity was pretty strong in the region.

I don't think it's fair to say the Arabs and/or Persians being scientific is as a result of the Quran. They didn't go to the Quran in the same way students go to scietific literature. It's just in previous generations, when it was the turn of the Bible to hold society back, Arabs were allowed to be more curious. Even today there are millions of Arab Christian, and in centuries past there were many more Arab Jews, and certainly more Zoroastrians, so to say the reason is the Quran is disingenuous, I feel.

If we take Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi as an example - one of the more famous people from that time - he was an astrologer. The Quran has nothing good to say on astrology. What pious believer thinks that astrology is good source of information? Today his head would be cut off for unbelief as he would be seen as Kaffir.

As I said in another response. There r things that God does that we have been blessed with the ability to do too. For instance we see, hear, and have knowledge. But God is All Seeing, All Hearing, All Knowing. So even though we can do things God can do them much better. On the same ticket with love and anger. These are emotions we have but God has them as well and His are the most intense. On the other hand, just because we do things doesn't mean God does them too. For example eating, forgetting, erring, getting sick, dying, using the bathroom, the list goes on and on. Yes Christians believe that Jesus pbuh is the begotten son of God. We as Muslims believe begetting offspring is an animal act of sexual reproduction and this is another thing God does not do. In the Quran 19:35 it says: It is unbefitting to God that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him. For when He determines a matter He only says to it "Be" and it is.

Allah going to bathroom does sound pretty crazy. But Allah is all knowing? I don't know about that.

Quran 20:17 "And what is that in the right hand, O Moses?", Quran 20:18 He said, "It is my rod: on it I lean; with it I beat down fodder for my flocks; and in it I find other uses."

Allah didn't know that fresh and salt water can mix either:
Quran 25:53 It is He Who has let free the two bodies of flowing water: One palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter; yet has He made a barrier between them, a partition that is forbidden to be passed.

According to several Iyah in the Quran (not just the two I provided), Allah sits on a throne, so Allah must have a similar shape to humans. Otherwise, how else could Allah sit on a throne? Honestly, Allah sounds like one of those rich despots, like Qaddafi, who puts everyone who disagrees in Internment and only pretends to care about the people.
Quran 23:86 Say: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme?"
