Babies are adorable after a few hours.  I've been present at two births (no, I was not the father in either case) and I have to say that watching a live human birth is a lot like watching your favourite pub burn down.

I witnessed the birth of my son.  I'd say that's an apt analogy.

My first son got stuck, the doc had to come in and use one of them sink plunger things on his head to pull him out.

I thought his head was going to stay egg shaped for all his life.
