Good friends won't give you shit for being an atheists. Just stay confident and give them a reasonable response, if they can't be reasoned with then they are obviously idiots that are not worth your time.
It's the "true friend" fallacy!
Your friends are you friends until they're not.
Then you say they weren't true friends anyway.
People who are believers will have trouble being impartial to any logical discussions.
Why lose them by pushing them...
Because there are no right or wrong answers with one's philosophical outlook on the world, it just becomes a battle of the egos...
Be better than that... Be the mature one.
Otherwise you're no better. You lose friends over an imaginary entity...
Just do what's best for you're social happiness.
It's difficultto put myself in that situation because talk of religion is non existent here...
Never heard that one before.
I think you misunderstood what i meant by "true friend". What i meant is, do you really want to be friend with someone that keeps making fun of your beliefs (or disbelief), do you want to be friends with someone that keep putting you in a tight spot or embarrasses you just for their own ego?
A true friend will respect your position as long as you respect theirs.
