I could understand if anything supernatural was more than a figment of the imagination, but a delusion perpetrated for the sake of comfort is just that.
It is termed "supernatural" for a reason, and not only because it is beyond natural. It is so beyond natural that natural law has no explanation for it. Rather, man in the name of religion creates an explanation for it, thus soiling the very definition of knowledge. It, religion, is a veritable disgrace to reason. Plain and simple.
