I wonder how many people here have read the Harry Potter books or seen the movies?
I picked up a friend's copy of whatever the first book was and started to read it out of curiosity, but I had recently got together with my beautiful and sexy new girlfriend so I had better things to do. Then the movie came out and frankly all the hype and hysteria put me right off. I don't mind popular trends, but as soon as they start to seem compulsory then I pack them in.
