I said months ago that maybe Manning could Diller one. He did.
That's a super apt comparison, seeing as that Ravens team with Dilfer was one of the top five defenses ever as well.
Manning is smart---he knows what he has to do to not lose. It wasn't his role on that team to be the guy that went out there and won it for them. He just needed to manage the clock and make smart decisions.
