Yes and no. Ideally, every American who is eligible to vote would be politically informed and participate in our process. But that's near impossible. In the end I'd rather have only well-informed voters than everybody vote despite having no clue what they're doing. If it's true that Kitan pays "as little attention to politics as possible" then I'm fine with him abstaining.

You realize that voting could help change that, right? The attitude that "my vote won't change anything" is the reason your vote won't change anything. Too many people think this way. Who knows, maybe if every citizen who said "Fuck this country my vote doesn't matter!" actually voted things would be a lot different. It starts from the ground up, you know. Local elections are more important than the Presidential election in terms of what will affect you more. Yet there are counties with local election turnout as low as 10 percent, sometimes even lower. It's a shame.
