Why More Americans Want to Own Guns

I'm not a gun owner but will fight for the right to own guns so if I decide to become one I can legally do so. Those who want to ban guns unintentionally allow only the criminals to own guns. Simply put if its illegal to own a gun, the people that own then are criminals. This helps the black market, and since when did prohibition of anything eliminate the problem? Why would anyone want to give up their rights? For security? How could you be secure against someone who has illegally purchased guns and came into your home? Would you confront them with a knife and tell them to put down their gun so you could have a fair fight? That's the thing with liberals, they rely on government more than themselves.

Look at all these gun free zones we have and signs posted in businesses that say it's illegal to carry a gun. Who obey them? Law abiding citizens, criminals don't, by definition. If you want to disarm your community so you have no right to own a gun for self defense go ahead. It's suicidal, because the criminals will not follow your silly laws, and you end up living in a victim disarmament zone, while the criminals can do whatever they want.

Then there's the fact many liberals hate the fact there are so many shooting by cops, but at the same time want to take away their own rights. There's a thing called democide which measures how much a government kills their own citizens. It's always the greatest in countries where gun rights have been taken away. Why give your rights away, seriously?
