Since pro sport serves no purpose except entertainment, the rules are bound to be arbitrary.
If black men showed a systematic advantage in strength over white men, it would make sense to have separate classes in tournaments at some point. The reason is entirely pragmatic, namely to render the results less boring. People can do whatever they want, I won't watch it either way. Just doing arbitrarily without any underlying reason would seem racist though.
